“It looks dated”
A fresh look that keeps your identity. Your customers already recognise you by something, and we do not throw that away. You see the design and approve it before anything gets built.
“It’s slow”
First we find what weighs it down, then we remove it. On n-ergeia the homepage weighed 1.34 MB and dropped to 154 KB, mostly because we cleaned out spam that had been injected into the code without anyone noticing.

The new site is designed for the phone screen first, because for most businesses that is where visitors come from. The desktop version is built on top of that base.
“Security worries me”
Often for good reason. On n-ergeia we found 512 fake user accounts created through a forgotten open registration form, and PHP on a version that no longer received security updates. The accounts were purged, PHP went to 8.3 and the vulnerable plugins were removed.
It is rarely all or nothing
On n-ergeia, a corporate B2B site on WordPress, the work happened in three separate phases. Each one stood on its own and was delivered on its own. The audit at the start shows how many of them your site actually needs.
1 · Rescue
Ten pages had broken when vulnerable plugins were disabled. We rebuilt them and the site was back online in under 48 hours. On n-ergeia this phase was delivered on its own.
2 · Migration
A new server and SSL, with the injected spam removed along the way. The company email was never touched. The old site stayed available as a fallback until everything was confirmed.
3 · Redesign
A complete new look on a custom WordPress theme, with hand-written templates and no page builder (an off-the-shelf visual construction tool). Seven days of work. After the cutover, all 23 published pages were checked one by one.
What “faster” means, measured
cookiesmaster.gr, the e-shop of a bakery-goods trading company selling retail and wholesale, came to us built by someone else. We took it over and cleaned it up: 16 plugins removed (47 down to 31, roughly 7,000 files gone) and WooCommerce upgraded from 8.8.6 to 10.9.1, with checkout verified end to end. Six legal pages were also rewritten, against Greek law 2251/1994 and Directive 2011/83 (14-day withdrawal, ODR). The measurements in the table were taken before and after the speed phase, on the same build with the same method.

Measured result
The “before” is the site as it stood immediately prior to the redesign — that is, after the security rescue we performed in May, still on the client’s old design. The original site was never measured before we took it on.

Frequently asked questions
Will I lose my Google ranking in the redesign?
The cutover is done so that it does not put your ranking at risk. Content is migrated, and wherever an address changes a permanent redirect (301) points Google to the new location. On n-ergeia we checked all 23 published pages one by one after the switch; not one was left returning an error. Rankings are something nobody can honestly guarantee; what we control is that nothing you have already built gets lost in the change.
Will my site go down while you work?
While we work, no. The new site is set up separately, on its own copy, and your visitors keep seeing the current one. The switch itself happens in a minimal window, once everything has been checked. On n-ergeia the old site stayed available as a fallback until everything was confirmed.
Will I lose my content or my email?
No. Your text and photos move to the new site, page by page. Your email stays out of scope: through the n-ergeia migration the company email was never touched. SSL (the padlock in the browser) is set up before the new site goes live.
Do I start from scratch or keep what I have?
We keep what works. Your domain and your history on Google are assets built over years. So is your content. They carry over. The audit at the start shows what is worth keeping and what is causing the problems. If something cannot be saved, we will tell you plainly before you pay anything.
How much does a redesign cost?
From EUR 500 excl. VAT, and from EUR 900 if it is an e-shop. The final price locks in the written quote after the audit, together with the delivery date. What pushes it up? Volume: more pages, a second language, a large product catalogue, special features. After the rebuild, will I manage it myself?
Yes. Handover includes training so you change text and photos without needing us. On Orpheus Hymns we built the theme and a small plugin for exactly this, and the owner adds new content himself.
